Four Paths

There are four paths.
The first lies in going around a thing.

The second lies in avoidance, as
The thing is no use.

The third is the opposite of the second:
Here the thing is recognized as good.

And there is a fourth path-the proper one,
Standing apart from the others,

Where the thing is placed in the world.
Of the many paths, there are four.
